Women Out Walking
The Women Out Walking program has concluded for 2021. We will see you again in 2022!

This simple program encourages women to walk daily (individually or in teams) and to log their steps on the Parks and Recreation website. Walking is a simple exercise with many health benefits including weight management, improved heart health and stress reduction. WOW participants will be encouraged to walk around Cleveland Heights’ beautiful neighborhoods, parks and pedestrian-friendly pathways and business districts.
Program Registration is free. Must be a Cleveland Heights resident to participate. Each participant will register and log their steps on the Parks and Recreation website on a weekly basis. The steps will be compiled and shared over the 4-week program with special recognition for the person with the most steps at the end.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, there will not be an in-person kick-off event this year. All participants will receive program instructions and information via email after registration. Each participant will also receive a WOW T-shirt, which will be available at the Community Center in early June.
