The park includes:

  • Performing Arts Center and Art Gallery
  • 22 acres
  • All purpose pathway 
  • Six tennis courts (lighted)
  • Splash Pad

  • Playground (ages 5-12) 
  • Skate board park  
  • Grass recreational area   
  • Rest rooms   
  • In the winter, a great sledding hill 

Playground:
The playground has a play unit for ages 5-12 and has woodcarpet for the safety surface.  A swing set and sand box is also on the site. 

All-purpose Pathway:
The all purpose pathway makes a loop around the outer parameter of the park (5.5 tenths of a mile  form Lee Road to Taylor Road). The city has installed two new Emergency  Call Boxes (blue light on top for identification) These boxes are a  direct link to the Police Dispatch. One box is at the corner of Lee and Superior inside the park and the other is near the information booth for the Cain Park Theater. The pathway is lighted and paved.

Skate Board Park:
The City of Cleveland Heights has one skate board park, which is located in Cain Park, near Taylor Road end of the park.  Various equipment for  skate boards and roller blades.  

  • No bicycles, scooters, or motorized vehicles permitted.  
  • Requirements - Must be a Cleveland Heights resident with a current Recreation ID Card - no guest permitted.   
  • Safety equipment is recommended. 

Sledding Hill:
The hill located at the end of Cain Park near Taylor Road is a great sledding hill in the winter.
