Starting in November, Cleveland Heights Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a historical scavenger hunt in Forest Hill Park. Come out and explore our beautiful park with its fall colors, and possibly learn something new about the park. Participants will need to sign up for the event. The event is free but we only ask for a donation of $5.50 to help out the Heights Emergency Food Center. 100% of the money collected goes to the Heights Emergency Food Center. After registration, you will be taken to page where you can donate to the Heights Emergency Food Center.
There are ten (10) points of interest, covering the entire park that will be on an interactive map given to the participants when they sign up. It is recommended that participants participate during daylight hours, please be aware restrooms are closed on both the Cleveland Heights and East Cleveland sides of the park due to COVID-19.
Participants can share photos by uploading them here. Enjoy the month of November to complete the ten sites and you can start wherever you would like. Hopefully, you may learn something new about the park while enjoying this wonderful resource. Everyone will move at their own pace and hopefully share some highlights of their adventure while giving back to community through a donation to the Heights Emergency Food Center.
